Spring
Winter | Summer | Fall
Everyone loves the spring. Birds are chirping, the snow is melting away, plants are starting to grow, and everyone has a renewed interest in the landscape and the garden. Literally, thousands of choices become available to us as soon as the soil is able to be dug, and plants can be put in the ground. Once the danger of frost passes, annuals can be planted to give enormous bright showy color that lasts into the fall. Perennials can be planted early providing thrills that come back from year to year. Trees and shrubs can be planted to fill a wide range of needs throughout a landscape, from screening, to color, to providing shade, to prevent erosion, to giving a landscape structure and purpose.
